Lush Charisma Skin Tint - £12
Words cannot describe how much I love this product. I know what you're thinking, 'Beth, this is ridiculously orange, no way am I trusting your review' - please understand the photographs were taken in bright sunlight on the one sunny day we've had this month! I spoke to the lovely young fellow at the till about it, and was sold. The Lush Skintint is so versatile, it is meant for underneath your foundation or to be mixed with your everyday moisturiser or base for a glowy finish. I find applying over my daily BB cream works just as well and provides a subtle, natural yet noticeable bit of colour. I apply this with my fingers if i'm using it all over the face, but I must admit i've also used this for a contour and it applies quite nicely with my stippling brush for a more natural effect on the cheeks when compared with my powder bronzers which can look a bit false. This is the exact opposite and looks dewy and soft. I wasn't expecting it to blend as well as it did either - the consistency is very gel-like and light, and sheers out really well to leave you with a natural flush of bronze and isn't at all drying on my skin.
'Charisma is a blend of golden colours to wear under your make-up to give
you a healthy, warm glow. Great on tanned skins, or for paler skins to
give a bronzed effect.'
This, i'm sure, is going to last me ages. I currently have a tan on my face from a recent holiday so I only apply the tiniest bit each time and it provides me with a more natural looking option to my powder bronzers. It has a tiny bit of shimmer in it but it doesn't appear glittery on the skin - it just provides a gentle glow. I've since been back to purchase the 'Feeling Younger' highlighting/reflecting tint so it just goes to show how impressed i've been with this product to want to shell out another £12. I can imagine i'll be using this even after summer is long gone - I'm addicted, and I know a few fellow bloggers with paler skin tones have tried this and also been pleasantly suprised. (You can read my review of the Lush Liquid Lips also from the range, here)

I have a few from my birthday night out that i will hopefully post soon :) xx
DeleteI'm unsure how I feel about Lush skin tints. None seem to be close to my shade or look like they would suit me. This is a lovely rave review though :) xo
ReplyDeletemost definitely raving over it at the moment! Can see why some people arent sure about them though :) xx
DeleteThis just looks...scary!!! Lol but i trust you beth!! Haha xx
ReplyDeleteAh this looks really interesting Ive got the lush colour supplement but I'm not too impressed this looks better as its gel like not a thick paste consistency xx
ReplyDeleteThat looks lovely! I would never have thought to even look at this twice! Now I may have to go have a look:D xx
ReplyDeleteYet another post, that challenges my "beliefs" on bronzers or skin makeup :) I too wouldn't have thought of picking it up, but now I really might give it a go - always prefer finding ways to look a bit more rested and glow-y without tanning.

This looks gorgeous, sounds really good quality too :)
ReplyDeleteThis looks so lovely! I wish I could go in to lush :( I'm really sensitive to strong smells and the minute I walk in to lush my head pounds! :( I'll have to make a little wish list for christmas this year :) x
ReplyDeleteThis kinda looks like benefit talk to the tan, but a lot cheaper!
ReplyDeleteI did a review of it on my blog, check it out if you want :)

Wow this product looks amazing, and relatively priced after seeing some of the prices of their new makeup items. Might venture into Lush to have a look :)

DeleteOoo this looks really nice :) is it a bit like a concealer then? Love how enthusiastic the people are in Lush! Just done a post about what I bought from there this week. Love your blog, now following! xxx
ReplyDeleteIts bueatifulll :) hmm its more like a gel based bronzer it wont cover up any marks but it seems to smooth out my skin tone well! Ill pop on over and have a read, thankyou xx :)
DeleteI'm not sure about the colour but I love the idea of the product. Non powder cheek colourings are my favourite whether its cream, gel or tints(: Will definitely go and check these out. Thanks!

I think I need this in my life!!! X
ReplyDeleteThis looks lovely on tanned skin. I'm not a huge fan of LUSH because I find them a little pushy with their opinions yet they are a little contradictory, some of their products I find are way overpriced for what they are but this seems quite nice!
ReplyDeleteVery nice comparison! I'll have to still play around with the high beam to get it to work for me. I try to be light..but no matter what it just looks like I have dry skin.. ahh just had a moment..maybe using a beauty blender This post will work better for me.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a very interesting product and really nice and natural. But is it a little hard to blend out? It seems like it might be from what I saw in the video, but once it was blended out it looked fabulous on you.

I use Bio Allgäu’s Pferde-Balsam for relaxing massages, and it’s incredibly soothing.
