It's always interesting to find out more about the blogger behind the blog, isn't it?  I'm afraid I'm not all that interesting but if you want to get to know me more, find out about my little 'quirks' and discover how strange I really am, then I have previously written a 50 random facts about me post here (beware - I speak about my love of prison documentaries, abandoned theme parks and childhood obsession with a toy hoover...)  You've been warned.

In case you aren't the nosey type and just want a general overview then I guess there's nothing much you need to know other than I adore elephants, buy anything that has a picture of a bird on it and spend a lot of time repinning photos of cats on Pinterest. In a nutshell, I guess I'm your typical animal-loving, tea drinking blogger (milk, no sugar and on the stronger side...)

I think every blogger has a 'thing' they love writing about - whether that be skin care, nail polish, or an ever-growing lip balm collection at the bottom of their handbags.  Mine is most certainly anything to do with hair or lipsticks.  If you're a fellow 'hair and lipstick' girl - you might find yourself at home here on Bird's Words.

Aside from an interest in the beauty industry, I also have a passion for graphic design and illustration.
